good morning☀️ SWIPE for a sweaty chest and triceps workout💪🏽 this was actually so hard it was a sauna out and my chest and tris are weak and I was strugggling.. but in the best way possible😅 @popeyessupplements bcaas always keeping me fueled tho, I’m obsessed with the @scivation watermelon right now🍉 WORKOUT -4 sets of 12 dumbbell incline bench flies -4 sets of 12 cable rope push downs (sorrry for blinding u with the sun it’s bright & I’m white I know)☀️ -4 sets of 12 incline dumbbell presses -3 sets of 12-15 cable tricep kick backs on each arm -3 sets of assisted (or not assisted for more of a challenge) push-ups until failure 💦 I hope this was helpful and you try this out on your next chest/tris day😊 let me know! Dip dip potato chip and why not add some leg lifts while I’m up there? How do you dip? Do you make sure your shoulder blades are locked together, with a high chest and braced back? Whatever you do make sure not to rotate those shoulders forward. All your asking for there is tendons and ligaments to pinch nerves resulting in awful pain. 🔥⚡️ Grip - how you grip the bar is important and making sure you are driving up off the middle and lower part of your hand. If you have a crummy grip it can cause flexion in the elbow therefor destroying your wrists and elbows. 🔥⚡️ How far do you go down? Your max activations happens at parallel so is it really important that you go any further? Well, that’s up to you and how it feels. No problem going deeper if you feel comfortable but it’s not imperative. 🤙🏼 Lift heavy, hard and often my friends but remember always lift smart. My 2 favourite isolation exercises for Shoulders and Triceps 👀💪 Read Below! ⬇️🔥 ➖ LATERAL DELTS - Lateral delt raises are one of the simplest but most effective exercises for shoulders, and they really are effective at getting you that wide V taper look 👀 To do them effectively 1. Keep your back straight 2. Raise the weights to your side but don’t swing, control the weight focusing on using your lateral delts only 3. Only raise the weight until your arms are parallel to the ground, then control the weight when bringing your arms back down ✅ ➖ TRICEPS - Tricep Rope Pushdowns are a great exercise for (obviously) the triceps, they allow you to get that full squeeze and they are one of the more enjoyable exercises in my opinion 💪 To do them most effectively: 1. Stand with torso straight leaning forward slightly, grab the rope and have your elbows by your side. 2. Bring the rope down until you are at full contraction and think about pulling the rope apart at the bottom (not a wrist movement, literally try and pull the rope apart with your grip). 3. Control the weight as you return to the starting position to complete another rep ✅ ➖ Do you like my content? Yes? LEARN 2 LIFT: 💪CABLE TRICEP X-TENSIONS💪⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ❓Do you ever experience a tightness or small pain in the front of the shoulders when you're doing regular tricep pushdowns? If so, here's an alternative variation to take the stress of off the front of the shoulder and help you target the triceps better. ⠀ ⠀ 🔷I like using this variation because:⠀ ⠀ ▪️ It's fun⠀ ▪️ It's different⠀ ▪️ You can easily fatigue the triceps without going too heavy⠀ ▪️ You can change the height of the cables or the distance you're standing from the cables to challenge the triceps more⠀ ▪️ It's an alternative to traditional cable pushdowns ⠀ ⠀⠀ ❌I don't recommend trying to be a "beast" and going heavy with this exercise. Your form will likely break down, causing you to use other muscles to finish each rep. Let’s talk T R I C E P S 💪🏼🔥 — As a female, a lot of us are sometimes cautious when it comes to training our arms, as we are scared of getting ‘bulky’. TRICEPS . I wasn't sure what to post today so I just asked a guy I know at the gym 'Is there anything you'd like to know that I might be able to help with?' And he asked for 'triceps exercises that aren't dips' .... so here we have it! Here are some of my favourite exercises for triceps. . Pay close attention to where the elbows are with these exercises...make sure you keep them narrow, don't let them flare out! If they do, then drop to your knees or get in touch for alternatives :-) . With the kickbacks and pushdowns make sure your elbows remain narrow AND anchored, the only things moving are your lower arms! . Build stronger and sexier arms with tricep dips. ➡ Keeping your elbows pointing behind you and your forearms perpendicular to the floor, slowly bend your elbows to lower your body straight down toward the floor. Make sure your hips just graze the bench's edge throughout the movement. If you wander forward, you could end up straining your shoulder. ➡ How far you bend your elbows depends how strong your triceps are. Start by bending your elbows to 90 degrees. Challenge yourself make the move more challenging by bending your elbows further. Eventually, you should be able to bend your elbows until your biceps is pressed against the base of your forearm. ➡ Pause, then press through the heels of your hands to straighten your arms fully, making sure to lock your elbows at the top of the move. Fittsmart Tricep push down exercise Pulley Machine. 🌟Attach a rope attachment to a high pulley and grab with a neutral grip (palms facing each other). 🌟Standing upright with the torso straight and a very small inclination forward, bring the upper arms close to your body and perpendicular to the floor. 🌟The forearms should be pointing up towards the pulley as they hold the rope with the palms facing each other. This is your starting position. 🌟Using the triceps, bring the rope down as you bring each side of the rope to the side of your thighs. At the end of the movement the arms are fully extended and perpendicular to the floor. The upper arms should always remain stationary next to your torso and only the forearms should move. Exhale as you perform this movement. 🌟After holding for a second, at the contracted position, bring the rope slowly up to the starting point.
