How I Track my Food 👉🏻👉🏻 After following a more intuitive style of eating over December/January I’m back into tracking my food intake. Just like I keep a structured training program, I need to keep a consistent nutrition program in order to make the most out of my training & get the results I want 👊🏻 I use Cronometer to track my food. It’s an app you can download off the App Store & I prefer it SO MUCH MORE than my fitness pal! Why? - It’s food database is more accurate! Every food entry has to be approved by the app before it can be entered in by other people (so no more choosing the food option that suits your macros so you get more 😂) - It provides a detailed breakdown of calories, micronutrients & macronutrients - it shows your complete amino acid profile not just total protein intake - it shows you where you’re sitting in regards to ideal nutrient balance ranges - it provides food suggestions for you to hit your remaining nutrient needs - you can keep track of not just your weight, but other health markers like sleep, mood, heart rate, blood pressure too! From my personal experience with myself & with clients I’ve learnt that the more data you have with your nutrition; the more you learn your body & what it responds too. ᴬᴺᶻᴱᴵᴳᴱ TRAVEL HAS MADE ME MORE AWARE OF ME. _ Es ist Freitag, das #wochenende steht also vor der Tür. Und ich kann sagen: seit meiner Rückkehr aus Brasilien bin ich schnell wieder in meiner Wohlfühlroutine reingekommen. Am wichtigsten sind mir mein gesunder Lifestyle, das Zusammensein mit meinem Dr. Love, ein positives/inspirierendes Umfeld und das große Abenteuer, für das mein Herz tagtäglich schlägt. Statt nach dem Urlaub in ein Depriloch zu fallen habe ich mich auf genau diese Konstanten fokussiert! Und genau das ist das Geheimnis meines positiven Mindsets. Wir alle wollen dieses oder jenes in unser Leben ziehen, erreichen oder fühlen. Doch verlieren es aus den Augen, sobald wir Mangelgedanken zulassen wie Vergleiche mit anderen, Frustration/Selbstmitleid, weil wir "es" noch nicht erreicht haben, Zweifel, dass wir nicht gut genug sein könnten oä. Meine Konstanten bilden eine Base, mein #happyplace sozusagen. Es ermöglicht mir weiter zu denken und zu gehen. Jeden Tag versuche ich mein happy place zu erschaffen, damit Mangelgedanken und neue Herausforderungen mich nicht zu sehr aufhalten. Zum Ende meiner Reise war ich nämlich tatsächlich etwas down, denn all die Erfahrungen im letzten Monat haben mir deutlich gezeigt, wie viel mir der Wunsch bedeutet nochmal woanders zu leben und gleichzeitig fühlte ich eine Schwere in mir, weil mich die Vorstellung vom Weg zweifeln ließ. Jetzt sitze ich innerlich wieder zuversichtlicher an meinem happy place und freue mich mein ausgemaltes Abenteuer zu erleben. Hast du auch einen großen Traum, der dich jeden Tag begleitet?

🍑Booty building at home - Do resistance band exercises build muscle? Yes, as long as you use a HIGH ENOUGH resistance. Remember: The optimal amount of reps for muscle building is 8-12 and if those reps aren't hard, you ain't gonna get anywhere. It works great to use several bands at once. - 1ST EXERCISE: mainly glute max - makes your bum bigger and rounder. Form tips: keep your back straight. Focus on squeezing your bumwhen you reach full extention of the leg. - 2ND EXERCISE: glute medius - works especially the top outer part of your glutes, makes it 'pop' and gives you that hourglass figure. Form tips: use a resistance band with which you can still do the exercise with a big ROM (range of motion). - Btw: I don't have a penis. That's just my pants looking a bit unflattering in the last video 😉

If you’re struggling to see results or at the stage where you are between weights, use the following three ways to increase the intensity of your workouts without changing the load. I’m using a squat as an example but you can apply this to any exercise: ➡️Focus on the eccentric - this is the part of the exercise when the muscle lengthens as you lower towards the ground during squat. Slow this down and really concentrate on lowering with focus and control on this often neglected part of the exercise. ➡️ Add a pulse - before you come up add in a pulse or two. ➡️Add a pause - pause for a few seconds at the bottom therefore increasing time under tension. #tipoftheday

Sure I’m an athlete and getting ready for stage, in this photo throw back but I still ate carbs and around 200-300 grams a day! . WFPB have been proven to be the healthiest way to eat, loaded with fibre, nutrients and sustainable for the long term. . Why work hard to shred body fat to put it all back on again? To feel like ‘shiat’ when your dieting?? . This photo is extreme lean, but my message is...the same, it’s possible to eat a balance in fruits, veggies (including potatoes), beans, rice etc. I am also supp free here, no BCAAs, no fat burners, no drugs just a serve of @pranaon protein in my smoothie bowls post workout. . I’m not blessed with genetics, it hard for me to build muscle, as you can see on moderate protein is sufficient to build mass. . What is your 'WHY'? - If you want to change something about yourself, you usually need a strong reason for it. Or even better several reasons. I was never fit. Never played any sports, even at school I was far behind everyone else in my class. It was not until I found a whole list of reasons to workout that things changed. Here are my motivations: - 1️⃣ strength (lifting more weight) 2️⃣ The feeling of accomplishment you get afterwards 3️⃣ It makes me a lot more confident 4️⃣ It's fun (at least most times) 5️⃣ Performance (I love being able to do certain exercises like pushups, etc) 6️⃣ Looks/ physical appearance 7️⃣ I'm able to eat tons of food 8️⃣ Better digestion 9️⃣ I love the confused looks people give me sometimes when I do 20kg Hyperextensions wearing a shirt that says 'vegan' on it 🔟 It's great to have a bigger project to work on - What are your motivations to workout? Lying in bed this morning finding excuses why I can’t workout, telling hubby maybe it’s not the best idea to exercise since I still don’t feel 100%, he agreed with me, I mean he’s supposed to kick me out of bed and not this 🙄🤷‍♀️😂 I even googled if I can workout with chest cough, it wasn’t the first time I’ve done it 😂 And all I could hear in my head was excuses, excuses, excuses....It’s all about empowering yourself so I got up, put on my fave workout bra @seeingthngs and leggings and got on with it...easy peasy at the end 💪😁 . . Sure I took it lightly, but this first little step is the most important one, bloody hate regrets. And I feel great, not because of the workout itself, but for the tiny step I took towards it. ⁣⁣I’m ready for this...⁣ ⁣ Week 1 officially kicks off for me and my Fitness Babes and I’m so pumped to sweat it out with them virtually, haha. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I always encourage my girls to take their “Before” pictures or as I like to call it my “Cocoon photos” to use as a reference as they progress through their program. I call them my “Cocoon photos” because usually it can be a little nerve racking to taking raw photos of your body. Personally, my ego curls up into a ball when I take them, thus the word Cacoon. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ But, once I finish my program —my confidence explodes to which I picture myself like a Butterfly blossoming out of my Cocoon. 🦋 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ My confidence has grown so much since the first day when I started as a Coach. And my body has shifted and flowed so much over the seasons. I’m so excited to spend the next 2 months working out ONLY 4 Days a week for 30 Mins. 🙌🏼🤸🏽‍♀️💪🏽

So today was a crazy stressful day! It was just non-stop stress from the moment I got to work! I went into the morning in such good spirits too but I guess working in the healthcare industry isn’t going to be easy! Tonight I went to the gym and did my usual workout routine, ran on the treadmill and then did some weight training. Just as I was about to leave I noticed space on the floor and decided I had a little bit more left in me! Running into 2019 like what?! Is anyone else feeling like they've been going non-stop since the new year? . When I started my social media agency I didn't know what was going to happen? Was I going to go broke or even worse fail. When you own your own business you can't rely on anyone except yourself which can be scary AF! . The highs and the lows are going to come.
