Vegan brownies! Another sweet treat for these hot days. These brownies are made out of: oats flour, dates, shredded coconut, baking powder, coffee powder, vanilla essence, cocoa powder and cashews! For the top up we made a mixture of banana and cocoa powder in the food processor! It was amazing!!! Brownies veganos! Otro dulce postre para estos dias calurosos. EATING IN ABUNDANCE🥗 - When I first started following a plant-based diet, I thought all vegan food was automatically healthy and I could stuff my face to no end. And I’m not talking about the obvious culprits like processed white bread and Oreos ~ I’m talking avocados, nuts, date balls and smoothies. Yes, you can still over eat on a plant-based diet. But eating in abundance does not mean that you should eat large QUANTITIES of any food but rather means that you should eat many different VARIETIES of food in your diet. - I know how easy it is to get stuck into habits and routines, but one day you realise you’re having avo on toast for every meal and stop to think, surely this is not healthy? Don’t get me wrong - avo on toast is a great meal, but it’s not a fully balanced one, and you certainly won’t get all the nutrients you need to function optimally from it. OK so how do we really eat in abundance? - 1️⃣THE TRAFFIC LIGHT METHOD - This is a simple trick I use to try and include at least one of each colour in every meal, every day: 1x GREEN 1x YELLOW/ORANGE 1x RED/PURPLE - 2️⃣ 5-10 SERVINGS Yup, you read right - 10 servings! A serving ranges from 1/2 - 1 cup. Or roughly the size of your fist. To give you an idea - the enormous salad pictured here has about 6 servings of fresh veg (realistically I would probably eat this over two sittings 😂) Which means I could still have another 2x servings of fruit during the day and 2x cooked veg like sweet potato with dinner. - 3️⃣ EAT UNTIL YOU’RE FULL THEN STOP. So this is a tough one because we aren’t all built the same and some people naturally need more food than others. Find your groove and stick to it - if you prefer having 8 smaller meals throughout the day - do that. If you’re thriving by practicing intermittent fasting - do that. There is no blanket rule for everyone, because we are all unique ☀️ own it. But if you feel your stomach is paining from being too full - even from a salad or smoothie, you’ve probably eaten too much at that single point in time. - It’s a small start, and may seem difficult at first but it will make a huge difference to your nutrient intake. 🌱 HAPPY EATING

I know these have been marketed to you over the years by giant food companies as "healthy", but if you understand a little biochemistry about how these highly-processed oils react inside your body, you would quickly see how false that is. First, anything labeled soybean oil, canola oil, corn oil, vegetable oil, or cottonseed oil (these are in a LOT of processed foods you probably eat) most times have undergone a refining process under extremely high heat and use of chemical solvents such as hexane. This leaves you with an oil where the polyunsaturated fats have undergone a lot of oxidation and are therefore VERY inflammatory inside your body, producing free radicals, damaging your cell membranes, contributing to faster aging, heart disease, and other possible health problems. If you want to avoid the health-damaging effects of soybean, canola, corn and other "vegetable oils", make sure to avoid them as much as you can, and instead opt for truly healthy oils and fats such as extra-virgin olive oil, avocado oil, virgin coconut oil (a healthy source of MCT fats).

Jaffa Balls by @sarahtannernz 🧡 Ingredients – makes approximately 24 bite sized balls 2 cups desiccated coconut ¼ cup coconut butter, gently melted 100mls coconut cream ¼ cup maple syrup 1 TBS organic goji berries, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes, and drained 1 tsp orange essence 1 cup melted and cooled dark, vegan chocolate Method In a food processor, combine all the ingredients, apart from the melted chocolate until a nice dough forms. 🍛 Cizrnové curry 🍛 ✨Rychlý, jednoduchý a tak trochu exotický recept, který musíte vyzkoušet ✨ Existuje spousta verzí curry, my jsme si oblíbili tuto: Ingredience: 400g cizrny z plechovky (nebo uvařené) 2 mrkev 2 cibule 3 rajčata 2 stroužky česneku Koření: garam masala, kari, kurkuma, chilli.. Cca 250ml kokosového mléka Sůl Olej Koriandr (popř. Petrželka) Postup: Na oleji osmahneme cibuli nakrájenou na proužky, přidáme koření (podle chuti, my jsme dali cca lžičku kurkumy, lžičku kari, trochu chilli a lžičku garam masala, ale můžete přidat i např. zázvor..), prolisovaný česnek a necháme chvíli rozvonět. Potom přidáme oloupanou mrkev nakrájenou na kolečka, rajčata na kostky, osolíme, zalijeme trochou vody a chvíli dusíme, dokud nám mrkev nazměkne. Když je mrkev měkká a voda odpařená, přidáme cizrnu, chvíli prohřejeme a zalijeme kokosovým mlékem. Necháme trochu zredukovat, popřípadě ještě dosolíme. Breakfast Treat Idea: Crepes With Chocolate Pudding Via @veganfoodspace By @magic.fit.food 💛 Via @veganbombs Recipe:⠀ Crepes:⠀ 1 cup all-purpose flour⠀ 1/4 tsp. salt⠀ 1 1/2 cups unflavored soy or almond milk⠀ 3 tbsp. vegetable oil⠀ 1 tbsp. maple syrup, optional⠀ 1 tsp. vanilla extract, optional⠀ up to 1/3 cup water⠀ ⠀ Instructions⠀ Place all ingredients except water into a medium mixing bowl and whisk together until completely smooth.⠀ Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.⠀ Start with a test crepe. Very lightly oil the surface of a nonstick frying pan and place over medium heat. When the pan is hot, add about 1/4 cup of batter and quickly swirl it around until the entire bottom surface of the pan is coated and batter takes on a generally circular shape. Cook just until the edges start to pull away from the bottom of the pan, about a minute. Very carefully flip and cook 10-15 seconds more on other side. Slide the crepe out of the pan and onto a plate.⠀ Adjust the batter as needed. If it seemed too thick and was difficult to swirl, whisk in a few splashes of water. Repeat until all batter is used up, adjusting by adding more water as needed. Lightly reoil the pan as needed between crepes. fill with chocolate pudding (recipe below). simple chocolate pudding:⠀ ¼ cup almond milk (62 g)⠀ ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50 g)⠀ ½ cup maple syrup (180 g)⠀ 1 banana⠀ 1 avocado⠀ 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)⠀ ⠀ Blend all the ingredients in a food processor or a blender until smooth.
