Day 15...best plant based alternatives: Organic Tofu! 🌱 Tofu is super versatile. My favorite creations include: baked tofu "nuggs" and the classic tofu "egg" scramble. Tofu, similarly to meat, can be manipulated, seasoned, baked, ground, chopped, sliced any way you like. When using silken tofu(the softest) to make sauces etc, it definitely has a distinct flavor. I prefer to use it as my alternative protein source in curries, stir-fries, breakfast options etc. • • Soy consumption has caused a lot of controversy due to mis-information and lack of further research. Phytoestrogens in soy are not the same as the estrogens in human bodies, although they mimic. We are not plants🤷🏼‍♀️ No, you won't grow big boobs (trust me, I wish)💡 • • Soy is more than perfectly fine to use and actually beneficial when consumed in its unrefined (whole edamame) or very little refined form (Soy Milk, Tofu, Tempeh).
