Recreating a personal classic of mine I call the "Foundation Breakfast". Simple whole food ingredients designed to fuel you for the day ahead. Adding sweet potato to your breakfast may seem strange at first but it should become a key ingredient for keeping blood sugars stable and fuelling your body for hours. --- Ingredients: Coconut Oil 🥥 Reduced Salt Bacon 🥓 Grated Sweet Potato 🍠 Mushrooms 🍄 Cherry Plum Tomatoes 🍅 Bell Pepper 🌶 2 Egg Whites 🥚 4 Whole Eggs 🥚 Spinach --- For myself I don't track calories/macros as I understand what my body needs hour by hour. A great advantage of this breakfast meal is that it's very easy to tailor towards your macro needs as it contains got sources of all three macronutrients along with a great combination of vitamins and other nutrients. . . 🍋 EATING OUT 🍋 . If you want to eat out and prefer a low carb option, a big salad is always a great option. Ensure it comes with any protein to keep you full . Choose wisely with the salad dressing. Lots of dressings contain added sugar and can add lots of hidden calories . Ask if you can get the dressing on the side. That way you are in control. If you want to stay away from a dressing completely you can always ask for a few slices of lemon to season your salad . This salad here, green salad with prawns, avocado, mango and micro greens 👌. . . .

This is what lunch looks like for the next few days. The recipe is another one from Community by @arthurstreetkitchen- a bed of spinach and roquette, chickpeas and lentils, roasted cauliflower and sweet potato covered in a spice mix, walnuts coated in honey and chilli flakes, and soft herbs on top (extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar drizzled over, as always) 😍👏 It’s super filling too, with a good amount of protein and healthy fats without the need for meat 😏 I always think about where the protein and good fats are coming from in my meals, especially when I leave out animal products- without these your body won’t produce the right signals to tell you you’re full, so you’ll want to keep eating! 🍽 . Lentils and chickpeas are an easy alternative to animal-based protein which also come with bonus fibre! It’s an easy switch- add some chickpeas to your salad instead of tuna, in your curry instead of chicken, in your stir fry instead of beef 🔄 Walnuts help cover your healthy fats and are a good plant-based source of omega-3. The olive oil also helps with its monounsaturated fatty acids. . For the soft herbs on top, I chose parsley and dill, but you can use whatever ones you like! 🌿 Herbs shouldn’t just be part of your supplement regime, I use them in as many meals as I can- it’s food as medicine 101. They are full of beneficial phytochemicals and are a great source of minerals such as iron, calcium and magnesium- depending on which herb it is (perfect for vegetarians, because a lot of minerals in today’s diet come from meat). Empfehlenswert ist eine Gemüse- und Obstmenge von 800g – 1000g pro Tag, damit deckst du einen Großteil der Mikronährstoffe ab. Die Gesamtmenge kann sich zum Beispiel aus 600g Gemüse und 200g Obst zusammensetzen – Gemüse sollte immer den größeren Anteil ausmachen. Jetzt fragst du dich wahrscheinlich: Noch mehr Gemüse?🌽🌶🥕 Gemüse geht immer :D Idealerweise sollte jede Mahlzeit mindestens zur Hälfte aus Gemüse bestehen. Gerade beim Frühstück kann das vielleicht etwas tricky sein. Mein Tipp: ein grüner Smoothie mit zB. Spinat, Grünkohl, Gurke, Feldsalat, Zucchini.. was auch immer. 🍓🥑🍆Man kann auch gerne noch einen Löffel Proteinpulver mithinzunehmen. THAT TIME I ATE MY BODY WEIGHT IN MY EMOTIONS AND GAINED 5KG ⬅️⬅️ Yes that happened, you know when life threw one too many lemons at me? (See lemon post a few back) for the first time, well the first time I’m aware of, I started emotionally eating a few months back and I COULD.NOT.STOP 😳 anyway fast forward to now to when some of my clothes don’t fit or there uncomfortable to wear because I’ve had to force it on and off, to the point I legit snapped the zip on something, whoops 😅 I don’t look my best or feel my best but yesterday a HUGE penny dropped, for the first time in..well absolutely ever, I’m more then okay with it 🙏 Yesterday I said to myself out allowed ‘I love my body, I love my body for all it allows me to do, it allows me to walk, run, dance, cook, work, practice yoga..etc, I learnt to walk again and the fact that my body has allowed itself to heal from such significant trauma is a miracle and for that I am eternally grateful’. How could I feel negatively towards my body when it allows me to do all of that and live a life that I love? Yesterday I made a vow to myself to no longer speak badly about my body and to only love and nurture it whilst I with no judgements, start the journey to where I’d like to be. Of course I want to loose weight and feel good again but i’m in no hurry to drop 5kgs and stress myself out over it which will only cause other issues, I have my self control back and I’m in really good space so as long as I’m eating healthy and moving my body, It’ll be a gradual process and I am happy with that 🙏 #loveyourbody

ROOIBOS COCONUT STEELCUT OATMEAL 🤩 A delicious Sunday brunch bowl that hit all the spots 🥰 Recipe below 👇👇 Soak 1/2 cup of steelcut oats in water overnight 🌝 Wake up in the morning, do some yoga and then boil a cup of rooibos tea ☕️ Rinse and drain the oats ✨ On the stove, bring 1 cup of rooibos tea and the oats to a boil ⚡️ Bring down to a simmer and 1 mashed banana, 2 Tbsp coconut butter, 1 tsp cinnamon (or use a chai spice mix) and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence 💫 Stir frequently until the oats become soft ☺️ Top with your fave thaaangs, go sit outside and enjoy! 💐🥳 I used @wazoogles new Breakfast Bomb granola seed mix, cacao nibs, brown rice syrup and blanabaz 🍌🍫💣

Oatmeal with pomegranate and kiwis... Definitely bomb!! It might sound weird, but this was the first time ive tried pomegranate😂 Never actually realised that they existed and i honestly was afraid of cutting them. But as you can see, I did that yesterday! . (trigger warning for some people because of calories) Ive counted them for so long. Instead you should look if you get the right NUTRIENTS!!! Definitely more important that your calorie intake. Stopping to count calories was hard but my mindset switched from „omg these calories are bad“ to „this is such a nutritious meal, i love it“ 1st step to stop counting: delete all of these apps 2nd step: the scale shouldn’t have a place in your house. Not in the kitchen, not in the bathroom! 3rd step: Think about the nutrients while eating and maybe distract yourself from eating (if you come from a place of restriction) . I hope i can help to take the first steps and if you have questions please ask them!

Wloz wszystko do blendera i zmiksuj nie za dlugo). Odstaw mase na 10 minut ( powinny sie pojawic male pecherzyki powietrza). Masa jest bardzo gesta i pozostaje na lyzce. Happy Sunday😍😍😍 RECIPE for fit Blender pancakes MAX LOVE (Gluten & SUGAR FREE,vegan) - 1/2 glass of buckwheat flour - 1/2 glass of oat flour - 1 ripe banana - 100 ml milk ( of Your choice- I use cashew) - 40 ml sparkling water - 2 tablespoons of baking powder - 1 tablespoon of agave syrup (optional) - 1 tablespoon of coconut oil - 1 tablespoon of peanut butter . Put everything to high speed blender and mix quickly (not too long). Leave the dough for 10 min ( there should be small air bubbles). The dough is very thick, it stays on the spoon. Heat the pan, put a little coconut oil and 2 spoons of dough for one pancake ( I use a metal circle to shape it - that is the trick😁😁😁). Fry until it is golden brown and flip the side. oats, oats, oats for breakfast! i’ve officially lived my first week in the dorms at uni and before i went to gym this morning, I had a some instant oats from @harrawaysnz with some chia and ground linseed added into it, before adding a small sliced banana, some pumpkin seeds and @amazingraze.co banana bread granola i got yesterday from bulk foods store @reprovisions, a bit of nuts and dried cranberries from a nut mix and lastly a drizzle of @picspeanutbutter smooth pb to round it off~!! 😋 this was sooooooo good and it gave me energy before heading to my workout~ hehe still trying to figure out some simple and healthy meal options while i’m living in my room but for now im probably gonna have this on repeat cause THIS WAS SOO GOOD! 💞#oats #breakfastideas #breakfast

Last week, a first of its kind report - @eatfoundation the ‘EAT-Lancet Report on Food, Planet, Health’ was released, establishing a science-based diet that will help to improve the health of people and the planet. At present, approximately three billion people experience malnourishment globally – over 2 billion suffering from obesity and other diet-related health conditions such as diabetes, whilst almost 1 million lack sufficient food, yet mind-bogglingly enough, almost one-third of all food produced goes to waste each year which is enough to feed the hungry four times over. Our planet is teetering on the edge of irreparable destruction, and with 10 billion people expected to live on Earth by 2050, greater health epidemics contributing to global burden of disease and irreversible and potentially catastrophic shifts to the planet are foreseeable if we don’t make drastic changes to the unsustainable diets we consume today. The ‘planetary health diet’ takes a ‘flexitarian’ (mostly plant-based with modest amounts of animal foods) approach to eating - requiring us to double global consumption of plant-based foods whilst cutting less healthy foods such as red meat and sugar by >50% (primarily in westernised countries where consumption is in excess) - and addresses the major role of farming, livestock particularly, in driving global warming and the destruction of the planets ecosystems. Despite sounding like a radical shift, the report explains that it is achievable and does so without expanding land use for agriculture and is critical to protect our resources. It’s Sunday which can only mean one thing - it’s baked oats for breakfast💁🏻‍♀️ ‘Raspberry bakewell’ flavour this week featuring oats, banana, frozen raspberries, oat milk, vanilla, @whitworthsuk ground almonds and flaked almonds on top for a bit of crunch!🍇🥧🌰 Would have been going for a nice long run today but despite over a week off running my leg still isn’t 100% recovered from last Saturday’s injury, so desperate to get back out there☹️💔

No one who’s tried these Parathas (Indian flatbreads) has been able to guess the secret ingredient in them and it’s interesting to see their incredulous faces when I reveal it. It is (drumroll 🥁 please...) SILKEN TOFU! Silken tofu is devoid of any taste, texture or smell of its own so it completely dissolves into a soft nothingness in the dough. Crispy Banana waffles loaded with all the juiciest fruits😜 Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside😋 just how we like them am I right👌 I enjoyed them by adding a large dollop of choc coconut yogurt. So good! Happy Sunday to you all Much love Chloe x . Recipe👇 1 1/2 C Spelt flour 1 Tbls flaxmeal 3 Tsp Baking powder 1 Tsp ground cinnamon . Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl . 1 Tbls pure maple syrup 1 Tsp pure vanilla extract 1/4 C Ripe Mashed banana (Aprox one medium size) 1 1/2 C Almond milk . Whisk all wet ingredients together -I threw mine into my vitamix and blended on high for 20 secs or so . Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and gently combine with a spoon. Leave for a few mins whilst you heat your waffle iron.. Brush a little oil on and Use 1/4 C scoops, cook for Aprox 2 min each side, or until browned. Place on a wire rack whilst you cook the rest. Enjoy! 🍆🌱MISO SESAME EGGPLANT🌱🍆 .. .. Ingredients: 2 egg plants 1 tbsp miso paste ( I used @clearspringuk ) 2 tbsp tamari 1 tsp maple syrup Coconut oil Sesame seeds, spring onion & coriander. Method: Pre-heat your oven to 180°c and cut your egg plants in half longways. Take your knife and slice deeply diagonally across them. Brush coconut oil on the egg plants (facing upwards) and transfer to the oven for 20 minutes. Combine your miso, tamari, maple syrup and coconut oil to create your miso glaze. After 20 minutes is up, remove the eggplants from the oven and brush them with the glaze. Return them for another 20 minutes. Bondi fun in the sun with this lovely Canadian! And seriously the most delicious poke bowl!!!
