#transformationtuesday 🧐 (weight from left to right; Dec 2016 189, Dec 2017 182, Aug 12, 2018 178) - I try to convince people that the scale does not always show what’s going with the body. In drastic cases sure. - What’s made the BIGGEST difference for me as I’ve continued on this journey is my nutrition and my lifestyle outside of the gym. Of course working smarter inside the gym helps as well. - Lately I’ve been including more and more of the plant based proteins and amino acids into my diet and it’s been working wonderfully! (All thanks to @heathergainz 👌🏾👍🏾) - My biggest fear was if I would be able to get the gains and then keep them. I had no prior knowledge of being more plant based and the benefits it has. - I’ve taken away so much meat from my diet. And here’s the results of consistent hard work in the gym. Also feeding my body the right things outside of it 🌱💪🏾 - I’m not all the way there yet. “The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.” You cannot expect microwave results you have to think crockpot, it takes time! Today I was able to do all my bicep workouts with my 8lbs, usually I would be switching out to 5lbs by the 2nd or 3rd rep. This is week 6, it took time to get here. Am I perfect? Hell no! Do I have have the arms I want? Nope! Will I have them in two weeks when I finish this program? Not likely. Will I be disappointed? No. Why? Bc I know this shit takes time!!! Just bc I don’t get my Michelle Obama arms in 8 weeks, it doesn’t mean the program doesn’t work, you just have to keep going. Put in the work, trust the process and be patient.

What ive gained from my step away from fitness.... ➖ After “bodybuilding” and sticking to a strict diet for around 7 months I completely burnt myself out. I was physically tired but more importantly, mentally tired. I turned a passion into a job that i didnt like anymore. I would skip out on going to lunch with friends and family because of trying to hit my macros. It wasnt a sustainable way of living ➖ Due to being burnt out my diet spiraled out of control and i only lifted weights 4 times in 3 months. I went from 10% body fat to 20+ and 188lbs to 206lbs. I didnt feel comfortable in my own clothes anymore because i knew i looked crappy ➖ Now fast forward to today, i am 2 days deep into my new lifestyle of eating which focuses on longevity. I have always had a goal of living to 100 years old and being healthy at that age. Today is my second day of being meat free and i couldnt be happier/feeling better. (I will from time to time eat fish) ➖ This lifestyle of eating may sound super hard and unsustainable but if you give it a shot im willing to bed your full all day and feeling better. I fast from 7pm-11 or 12am. (Ill make a post in the coming days about fasting. I feel its something everyone should do) ➖ My new focus is on longevity and a long healthy life
