It took me 4 years to naturally build the muscle on the right 💪🏼 — I was listening to a podcast by @richroll interviewing @des_linden & her trademark saying that eventually won her the Boston Marathon Champion title was “Keep showing up”. Day in & day out, maybe it means to scale back your expectations of your day, of your goal, but still show up & power through. The part of the podcast that really motivated me through my workout today was that Des had said that when she’s there on race day, she thinks to herself that this is an opportunity to change her life which was then looked at the broad spectrum that EVERYTHING every day, is an opportunity to change your life. Every action you take is a decision made and attributes layers upon layers to the life that you live. You are a result of your decisions. So keep showing up. Felt a little deflated this morning as I was off to the gym. Felt bloated and had the wrong mentality for the day ahead! Turned everything around with a fun workout that I enjoyed and smashed my goals 💪🏼

Tons of ladies message me and tell me things like. “I wish I had motivation like you”. “I wish I could stick to a program like you”. “I wish I had the willpower like you”. . I’m gonna let y’all in on a little secret. I have good & bad days just like you some day’s I’m so exciting to working & other’s I truly try to talk myself out of it for the entire morning. . I have only completed 3 entire program in my entire life with all of those being this year. Sooo if that doesn’t show you I had a problem finishing programs. . Is willpower starring down the left over French fries on your toddler’s plate? Or perhaps taking a spoon to the jar of peanut butter and saying 1 scoop 3 scoops ago? Yeah, that has been me a time or two. . Y’all I’m just like you. I struggle with motivation, I loose my shit on a family size bag of Doritos a time or two, and miss a workout here and there but you know what? When you make a commitment to yourself It’s your job & your job alone to fulfill that commitment no one else’s & I’ll be damned if I miss a Monday EVER. . So ladies, even if you have the worse case of the Monday’s fulfill that commitment to yourself. ❤️

If you are scared and you are loking at the box, it actually forces you to jump down - making them much harder, and you more likely to miss. Not your typical home workout 🏋🏼‍♀️ . As much as I love fall & winter, I love them because of the coziness they bring. Wearing baggy sweatpants & a cozy sweater while cuddling up by the fire is my favorite thing ever. I know I’ve said it a million times already bt this time of year just make me so happy! Venturing out into the cold, even for a gym sesh can be rough some days for me. I love being cozy, so leaving can turn into a chore. Yes, we all have our days where we lack motivation & drive. On days I’m V anxious I don’t enjoy working out near other people, bt I still want to workout. [It can be overwhelming & stress me out] Home workouts have saved me so many times & helped me during my most anxious times! ✨ . A quick & effective workout in the comfort of your own home is possible... who would’ve guessed??! There are endless exercises & ways to modify workouts in order to do them at home. Once your done you can cozy on up & enjoy the rest of your day/night without even having to leave your own home! I got these bands at @tjmaxx for about $10 & they came with 3! Gains session complete ✅ . Today decided to do a solo #chestday . Started off going heavy and finished off with a a few intense high rep workouts! . Here’s a brief look into today’s workout. . 1️⃣Flat DB Press . Instead of going palm facing away from you, race it towards you and do a reverse GRIP DB Press. . Trust me these were bad ass. . Do 4-6 reps and then switch back to regular grip abs do 4-6 reps single press! . 2️⃣Incline DB Fly . Beast mode flies here people! . Go as heavy as you can for 5 sets of 5-8 reps! . 3️⃣Cable Fly . Do 10 upper. . Do 10 middle. . Do 10 lower. . Yes 30 total. Blow that chest up! . 4️⃣Machine Bench . Instead of using a t bar for these, just use your hands. . Start with the bar parallel to your body. Upper back should be firmly on a bench. . Place the bar to one side, making your hand of the side you are on be in the front. . Do 6-8 reps and switch to the other side. . 5️⃣Flat Bench Press . Burnout at the end of your workout for some gains! . Put on your body weight or desired rep weight on. Do 3 sets of max reps! . . I am back with a banging hot leg workout! It feels like forever since I’ve posted a leg workout. I tried to switch up some exercises today, but mainly wanted to focus on squats. These 4 variations of squats were the reason my leg workout today was awesome and challenging! I find that everytime I switch up my routine I get more into my workout and motivated to hit the gym the next day. So key note here is: switch up your exercises and do what you love and feel that day. It’ll keep you consistent and motivated. Bumbu: 🔘Garam 🔘Lada Hitam 🔘Oregano 🔘Basil 🔘Chilli Flakes 🔘1 Sdm Kecap Inggris . Cara Masak: 1️⃣ Panaskan olive oil di wajan. Masukkan bawang bombay dan bawang putih. 2️⃣ Masak sampai bawang bomay tembus pandang. 3️⃣ Masukkan ayam dan bumbui dengan garam dan lada. Masak sampai bagian luar tidak mentah, jangan sampai coklat. 4️⃣ Masukkan air, tomat, tomato paste, oregano, basil, chilli flakes, kecap inggris. Tambahkan garam dan lada secukupnya. 5️⃣ Biarkan mendidih lalu kecilkan api selama 30 menit. Cara Masak: 1️⃣ Rebus ayam di atas api sedang sampai empuk lalu angkat. 2️⃣ Ulek bawang putih, bawang merah, garam dan lada. 3️⃣ Panaskan wajan dengan olive oil dan tumis bumbu yang sudah diulek sampai warna kuning, lalu masukkan ke air rebusan. 4️⃣ Masukkan wortel dan masak 5 menit 5️⃣ Masukkan Brokoli, daun bawang dan seledri. 6️⃣ Masukkan kembali ayam yang sudah dipotong-potong. 7️⃣ Tambah garam dan lada jika perlu. . Buns of steel workout!! #fighttothefinish2018 This is a great circuit using minimal equipment that you can do anywhere! I completed 3 rounds! . ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1 Frog Pump: Do one set of really high reps! This might mean you do 30 reps or 120, whatever makes it burn! 2. Dumbbell Frog Pump: Add some weight and do 20-30 reps. 3. Extra- Range side lying hip abduction: keep the foot of the top leg turned downward into hip internal rotation. Do one set of 20-30 4. Knee- Banded Feet- Elevated glute bridges: Push through heels and do one set of 20-30 reps. 5. Raised Reverse lunge w/ Step up: Go as deep as you can comfortably go into hip flexion.10 - 20 reps. REPEAT Steps 2-5 x 3
