Yesterday I did arms in the AM and a 2-mile run in the PM! Sadly I drank way too much right after that, since my friends had invited me out for a Valentineโ€™s day special at the bar. ๐Ÿ˜ข Needless to say Iโ€™m still recovering, but Iโ€™m trying not to beat myself up for it because it was a pretty fun night. Goals for this weekend: .๐ŸŒธ eat my veggies and fruits! A lot of time Iโ€™m not taking in my vitamins and antioxidants. Iโ€™m definitely stressing on this today and getting a green smoothie in this morning. ๐ŸŒธ train shoulders on Friday, legs on Saturday, and arms on Sunday. Iโ€™m avoiding deadlifts but also back day in general, since my lower back is hurting. ๐ŸŒธ keep pushing myself for at least 3-mile runs each day with less stopping, and try to keep hitting 4 miles when I can. ๐ŸŒธ do all my homework! Especially work on my thesis chapter, which is way overdue.

Hey guys, how are you? I'm feeling good finally sitting down with a cup of tea. Started this workout three days ago(doing a bit longer for cardio) but feeling pretty good and seems to be helping me get back on track. What's everyone else doing to keep healthy and active? So greatful I got a treadmill for Christmas this year has been very helpful. Hope everyone has a wonderful day :)

Triceps- a muscle group I never had. They used to be so weak to the point that one of my clinical instructors told me if I didnโ€™t do something about it Iโ€™ll definitely end up injuring my shoulders. Here I am- 4 years later- 2.5 years into a committed fitness journey- able to hold myself up on my toes in a half tricep push up. I practiced on my knees for program after program, but itโ€™s been THIS amazing 20 minute one that has me pushing past barriers. In this case- it was getting onto those toes no matter what. Even when I thought I would face plant, I did one more. Never did I think motivation could come from a trainer on a TV in my upstairs office space, but here I am, pushing myself like Iโ€™m in a fitness class of 100 people. But only im pushing myself... against only myself. Comparison steals joy.
