Cauliflower and shrimp bhazi (stir fry). ***all measurements are approximate*** • Cut one head cauliflower into florets and set aside. • Cut desired amount of shrimp (I used about 12-16 medium shrimp) into small pieces and set aside. • In a hot pan, add about 3 tbsp oil. To that add 3-4 dried chilies. Once it darkens, add one small sliced onion and 5 cloves of garlic, minced. Sauté until light golden color. • Add the shrimp, salt, and black pepper. Once shrimp is cooked, add 1/2 tsp each of turmeric and curry powder. Cook out for about 4 mins, then add the cauliflower. • Normally I don’t cover the cauliflower because it steams it and overcooks it, but I did it here because it was a large head of cauliflower. Stir the shrimp and onion mixture with the cauliflower well and reduce heat to medium but leave uncovered, and stir every few mins. It should take about 15-20 mins to fully cook. • Add cilantro and stir.
