Just back from a very exciting meeting with Susan at @stjamespriorycafe @stjamespriory who will soon be displaying my paintings in their beautiful cafe.... squeeel with excitement!!! I’m so excited that my work will be in the cafe attached the to oldest building in Bristol and possibly the most beautiful @stjamespriory. I’ll let you know once they are up but in the meantime if you’re in central Bristol (Canon Street, BS1 3LH), pop into The Priory cafe and enjoy a hot cuppa and some of their delicious food which they make in the cafe kitchen each morning. It’s truly serene there and I’m thrilled. #stjamespriorycafe #stjamespriory #somersetartist #excited #paletteknifepainting #lovewhatido#igersbristol

Happy Tuesday evening 👋Here’s the new stock I’ve delivered to @wemakebristol today. I love this shop, so many amazing Bristol made items/ gifts all in one beautifully laid out shop. Take a look if you haven’t made a visit yet. So I decided to make a few matching pairs this time and for the blue ones a new grey frame as well. What do you think? Grey or white...? I love all things eclectic but sometimes a matching pair is just what you need. Thanks to @wemakebristol for stocking my art! #bristolmade #madewithlove #weddingideas #bristolwedding #mumboss #sparkle #hearts #bristolballoons #balloonart
Having a cuppa and making plans before delivering new stock to @wemakebristol in Westbury. Can you tell I have an addiction to sparkle...!?! Who else loves sparkle in their life? I’ll show the new stock later. #ginabelfordart #lovewhatido #sparkle #hearts #weddinggiftideas #bristol #bristolwedding

Hello! Happy Sunday to you. My latest painting which was a commission. I’ve used oil as it creates amazing textures and a glossy shine. I’ve also used gold leaf and gold paint which was one of the colour schemes of the the brief. It’s mounted in a 50 x 50 cm frame. If you’d like a commission or just thinking about one please contact me and we can have a chat. A similar size commission to this would be £155 to £200 depending on the brief.
Last painting to show you before ‘the family art fair’ tomorrow with @fillthatspacehq A seascape of the beautiful Dorset in acrylics and mixed media. You might even spot some sparkle if you look close enough. Hope to see you there.
We only have 1 day to go and here’s another peak at one the paintings i’ll be bringing to ‘the family art fair’ with @fillthatspacehq on Saturday. It’s untitled but maybe pretty in pink? Or is that just because this is one of my favourite films - ever, fact! It’s painted in oil with palette knife and 25 x 25 cm box frame. Hope to see you on Saturday!
Here’s update #3 of what you can expect to see from me on Saturday at ‘The family art fair’ with Fillthatspace. I thought I’d post early tonight as I hear there’s a pretty big match on and people might be busy watching that 🤗👍 I thought I’d show you a little of the process I use to make my ‘love and sparkle’ hearts. You may think it’s just coloured paper but I actually create a painting first a using palette knife with either oil paint or acrylic. Sometimes I use a palette of a particular colour in this case pink and sometimes I create a more colourful painting like my ‘love for Lupins’. Next I use one of my own heart templates (I have lots now!) and add a little sparkle to them before framing. I’ll have lots of these available on Saturday and I might be biased but I think they’d make a great present for a special teacher.
Sneak peak number 2.... this painting is called ‘falling’. Some people see buildings and some see water, for me it was a raging storm passing through but I love how people interpret it in different ways. There’s a touch of sparkle too. Oooohh I do love a twinkle ✨ it’s 50x50 cm and it would love to say hi to you on Saturday at the ‘family art fair’ with @fillthatspacehq
What can you expect to see on my stall at ‘the family art fair’ in Redland on Saturday? I’m going to give you a sneak peak and will post one of my paintings each day until Saturday. This is ‘summer Lupins’. captured from the beauties in my garden this year. Only wished they’d stay longer. It’s acrylic with palette knife and a touch of subtle sparkle.
I posted this painting a while ago but the photo was pants (sorry!) so posting again with better light this time 🤣 It will be available at ‘the family art fair’ with @fillthatspacehq on Saturday 14th. It starts as one of my acrylic paintings which I create using palette knife before I make them into hearts and dust them with sparkle. It’s entitled “love for Lupins”. Hope to see you on the 14th.
Hello👋 so here’s some news. The next event I will be taking part in is ‘The family art fair’ with @fillthatspacehq on Saturday 14 July from 11-3pm. It’s at Redland Park United Reformed Church, Whiteladies Road, BS6 6SA. There will be 16 artists taking part along with some art for the children to take part in, face painting, cakes and music! I’m really looking forward to it (especially the cakes!!) Pop it in your diary 😊 I Hope to see you there.
Hello again! I thought I’d let you know about my prints and greetings card which I have added to my repertoire :) They are giclee prints which were mounted and backed by @swanartworks who always do a fabulous job, thank you!!! The ‘calm’ print is 10x12” and the ‘love and sparkle’ is 33x33 cm. They are both hand finished with added sparkle and are £25. The greetings cards are in the same 2 designs and have also been hand embellished with some sparkle. These are £2.50. Please message me if you there is anything you’d like to order :)
I had a brilliant sunny day yesterday at the #nationalfreelancersday with @freelancemum01. Faye from @freelancemum01 never fails to put on a fab show and yesterday was no exception! @freelancemum01 is a very warm and friendly community and we all helped each other out from putting up gazebos and helping hold them down when the wind took them! It was especially great to meet fellow artists @paperheartproductions @missycards and @haveagocrafter so pop over to their pages and take a look at their stunning work. Prints and greetings cards of my paintings are a new addition to my range and they went down well yesterday so I’ll post later on how you can order one, in case you’re tempted.... bye for now 👋
