Presenting the 2019 Season crew of #hornetracing 🏎🏁
A photo of a great piece of engineering. Oh, and the rocket is great, too. 🤣 #hr2018goestospacex 🏎
We love a scenic track for a post-race testing. Our team stayed a little longer in @adamsmotorsportspark to test various suspension configurations on HR2018. Not only did we witness a captivating sunset but also found ways to tune suspension for faster lap times.
Special thanks to @adamsmotorsportspark for having us and letting us use their track on and off race hours. And to all the teams who participated in the event, it was fun racing with you all. 🏎🏁 #socalshootout
Today was a productive day at the track for the SoCal Shootout. We arrived early onsite and ran several laps until our driver noticed a problem with one of our spherical bearings. We got saved by our technical director for keeping some spare bearings in his backpack that he forgot he had. #fsaediaries
Strain gauge is on for today’s event 🏎
guess this makes us ’Ca 40fied’
“Houston, we are ready for takeoff.”
Our first general/introductory meeting was a success! We’ve met new people who are willing to dedicate their time, effort, and potentials to build and compete a race car from scratch as well as introduce everyone to the team—who we are, what we do, and what we aim to accomplish by the end of the season. The entire #hornetracing team would like to thank everyone who came to this meeting, and we are thrilled to have you on board with us in this journey! #makingithappenatsacstate
We are back at Laguna Seca for the IMSA event, and some of our volunteers get to work at the pit row! A big thanks to Laguna Seca Raceway for having us and for giving this amazing opportunity! #hornetracing
Attend our first general team meeting for the fall semester! Get to know this season’s system leads, our team goals, and what you can do as a member! After the meeting, we will also be conducting a tour of the Energy Lab at Santa Clara Hall 1357, where we park the HR2016, HR2017, and HR2018 cars. Join us! #hornetracing
Sun’s out, books out, the car is out! It’s the first day of school and the first day of Club Days! Come stop by our booth near the fountain by the library! Hang out with us, ask questions, get involved!
What’s a summer-ender activity like at Hornet Racing? Volunteering at Laguna Seca for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion! We had an incredible time working at the guest services, gift shops, and flag room while being able to watch the races of pre-1920s to 1970s race cars throughout the event. Did we also mention that we camped out all weekend? Those barbecues we cooked every night were heavenly! We are going back for the other events, and we look forward to doing these again with more and new team members! A big thanks to Laguna Seca for having us there! #thatshowwedoit
Thank you @red_line_oil for giving four of our system leads a tour of your factory last Thursday. We appreciate all the support and insights, and we very much look forward to working with you throughout this season!
