We're sorry to report the loss of New Albany's Moser Tannery, destroyed by fire on Saturday night. Built in 1915, with additions in 1935 and 1970, the three-story warehouse served Moser Leather Company until the factory closed in 2002. Though deterioration led to a partially collapsed roof in recent months (slide 5), structural engineers had determined that the building was solid enough for redevelopment and the City was seeking proposals for its reuse. πŸ“·: @greg.sekula and Laura Renwick #indianalandmarks #newalbany #indianahistory
