Healthy Carbs To Eat ๐Ÿ˜‹ โ € The word โ€œhealthyโ€ is a strong word thrown around in the fitness space... โ € And the reality is, who really knows what the ideal, healthy diet is? ๐Ÿค” โ € Although, my take on a โ€œhealthyโ€ diet is one that is full of foods that work with your body... โ € Foods that support energy, losing fat and building muscle easily, sleep, focus, youthful skin, well being, and everything in between ๐Ÿ™ƒ โ € โ € Carbs play a big part in that ๐Ÿ’ฏ โ € Especially sugar! Whether youโ€™re supplying your body with enough sugar or not ... your cells are still running on it. The lack of creates a stress on the body because it still has to covert tissue proteins into sugars ๐Ÿ˜… โ € I do feel all carbs are not equal, because I agree, I donโ€™t think heavily processed sugars and carbs are too hot for anyone ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ โ € โ € Along with preservatives, artificial stuff, dyes, emulsifiers like soy lecithin, gum additives and carrageenan, processed fats, etc... โ € The majority of carbs in my diet (in no particular order and without the nasties above) consist of: โ € Cane Sugar Honey Fruit Potatoes Grains of Heirloom Wheat Vegetables โ € โ € And on occasion, I still have my pizza ๐Ÿ˜‹ I also do rice and pasta (I make sure to get brands that arenโ€™t fortified with iron) but I donโ€™t eat any whole grains... โ € If Iโ€™m having bread, I make sure itโ€™s made of heirloom wheat so itโ€™s sprouted properly... โ € And you best believe itโ€™s getting lathered in grass-fed butter ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ™ โ € I mess around with cane sugar if Iโ€™m going to sweeten something, say a protein shake or tea, but mainly I make sure to eat desserts made with cane sugar, like my ice cream and chocolate ๐Ÿ˜ โ € Same deal with honey, or itโ€™s drizzled over my fruit and/or ice cream๐Ÿค— โ € By having the above listed as my carb diet staples, Iโ€™ve been feeling good on the inside and out ๐Ÿ“ถ โ € Hope something here helps you out as wellโ€ฆ โ € Cheers! โœŒ๏ธ โ €
