Going through something hard means you want nothing more than to have someone, anyone, come fix it. You take bandaids, half-ass relationships that are "good enough for right now" and you ignore your intuition because it's hard to do the work all by yourself. But then you start doing it and it sucks but it freeing and you start to feel stronger and before you know it you think, It was me all along. It was me I needed to take care of. And you know you didn't really need someone to swoop in and do it for you. You just thought you did. Via @gemmalhartley
Hurry up and swipe before the guilt sets in. What will I buy myself today?
When you get a new stove and you know it's going to be the highlight of your week because this is your life as an adult and you're trying to make the best of it. Also, when the nice men were pulling out the old stove and installing the new, I discovered someone has been storing their fingernail clippings behind it for like a decade and I wasn't horrified at all.

Cereal gives me life. Especially chocolate cereal because then the milk is so yum and you have a chocolate milk mustache after drinking it from the bowl and life is amazing. Then you want more. Via @scarymommy

Mother and daughter on our third day in a row of staying home, and doing nothing but reading and watching TV from the sofa. It's been glorious.

Up and out of the house early this morning with my babies to get some jewels before the heat. Wild raspberries are worth every ounce of sweat, scratch and bug bite. If only we could save some for a pie...

At 7:30 this morning I was having pictures of my boobs taken. I hate to admit this, but I've been putting off getting a mammogram for almost three years. Appointments like this overwhelm me. I procrastinate, make excuses, think I'll get to it later. Then three years fly by and one day I realized no one was going to take care of this stuff for me-- it's up to me to take care of my body. This is your friendly reminder to take care of you, even when it's not fun.
Letting go is the hardest thing to do. But when you have the courage to do it, you are opening yourself up to a whole new life. Loving every word via @thugunicorn

I'm weeks away from turning #43 and just started taking my skin seriously. For the last 7 months I've been spending an hour a month at @resurfaceskin getting a peel or facial. This is a close up of me. No filter, no make up except for mascara and clear gloss. Invest in your skin, and if you are local or visiting the Brunswick, Maine area get you ass into see Miranda at @resurfaceskin ♡
