We're working to transform the global seafood market, including China, where the MSC, Geraldton Fisherman's Cooperative & Shangri-La have come together for a three month campaign putting certified sustainable Australian western rock lobster on hotel menus in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzen. Tiger prawn season in Australia's Northern Prawn Fishery starts today ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿงก. After more than 30 years in commercial fishing, Bill Holden joined the MSC in 2009, and has just celebrated 10 years working in fisheries outreach with us. You'll find him repping the MSC at regional fisheries management organisation meetings in the Pacific, and working directly with fisheries to guide them through the MSC Standard for sustainability. "I became interested in ocean sustainability because I wanted to make a difference with my research.
