675 for a 1RM on RDL’s felt super easy so I jumped up to 725. Have yourself a laugh and swipe right! Felt good to have 725 in my hands again! I’m coming for you in July!
#tbt to just a couple weeks ago. My missed deadlift I almost passed on. I went in with a plan to finish 772/457/705. I had a perfect meet going into deadlifts. I pulled something in my back on bench and I knew I didn’t have it in me for 3 big pulls. Was planning 660/685/705 to finish a perfect meet. Decided to skip and go for 705 and got it. So in my head I competed perfectly. Sometimes plans change. Learn how to listen to your body and roll with the punches. Went for 715 for funzies and missed probably because my head was already done, but I threw my arms in the air because I played the game and still finished with what I came for!
I guess I’ll try out this cheating thing for a little bit. Feels good on my back
1 board bench PR. Planning to hit this in June. 475 her. Looks like my but came up, but I swear it didn’t, I just have a big butt, ask @corinaparker 😂😂😂
Next meet is in June and have some big numbers in mind. PR box squat with chains. 675 and 80lbs in chains. 715 at the bottom and 755 the top!
Yesterday had a lot of amazing experiences! Got to be judged by my idol @denniscornelius500 . 47lb PR on squat with 772lb/350kg 17lb PR on bench with 457lb/208kg .5 lb PR on deadlift with 705lb/320kg. 65lb PR on my total with 1935lb/879kg Got my wilks over the 500 bench mark Finally after 7 meets walked away with the best lifter award which is based off wilks. Battled it out with @itstomsaul for the top and ended up winning by 4 points. I was so happy I got to wrap @corinaparker @tjconnor23 and @tthduda for their squats. It was an amazing meet, but I have even bigger goals. Time to get my head back on straight and focus on what I’m doing this for. A world record is a long hard road and I have a ways to go. I had so many people supporting me yesterday and it was amazing! My beautiful wife ended with her first perfect meet all while getting HUGE PR’s on each lift which makes me a proud husband! My coach @o.g.flexican who worked his sorcery programming and every one on the team ended with huge PR’s. Corina who has been supporting Me from the beginning and making sure I have enough food all the time. The flexican mafia always pushing me to work harder. The pause wasn’t as long as I wanted, but I matched my all time PR with a pause at 725! Big bench PR with 405! Was suppose to be 3RM with a 5 sec hold on each one. Got about 2.5-2.75 reps. And then finished with 3x3 at the same weight! Training for a local @uspapower meet on March 24th at @obtainstrength. Going for some big numbers!! Maybe 1900??!! Maybe 750/450/725 if all goes as planned! @squat4thrive13 on the video and @tthduda counting and hoping I don’t die. I have some GRANDGOALS when it comes to my squat. Like world record goals. Safety squat bars and box squats have always helped me break through my plateaus and sticking points.
