Another 10km / 6.2 Miles Again a few stops where I had to catch my breath and stretch a bit, but I completed it and ran the whole distance. My aim was less than 1hr 12 mins which I did last week on my first 10km. Also wanted to prove to myself that last week 10k was not a fluke! Running and exercise are a real mental struggle for me! Some days I come back feeling super proud and other days soooooo disappointed! First half km I could barely breathe, chest felt super tight so I stopped, took a few seconds to control my breathing and started again, managed another 0.5km and stopped again! Then argued with myself to run the block which I managed mostly until I got to the huge hill that I usually run down rather than up, I was going up this time so walked part way up! I know all my efforts are better than doing nothing which I was before but I can’t help feeling like my running has gone backwards recently!
