Home made veggie burgers beat store bought meat replacements if you ask me 😉. These falafel burgers come together surprisinly fast. Save the liquid from your can of chickpeas and check out my previous post to see what you can do with it 🍫 . Makes 4 burgers: 3 cloves garlic 1/2 chilli pepper (optional) 1 carrot 1 handful parsley 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained At least 2 tbsp of chickpea/garbanzo bean flour 2 tsp coriander 1 tsp cumin seeds 👉 In a food processor start with finely chopping your carrot, put in a separate bowl and set aside. Next add garlic and chili pepper to your food processor and process before adding all the other ingredients, except the flour. Do not over process, the mixture should be a little chunky. Add the chickpea mixture to the bowl with carrots and combine. Add salt to taste. Next, add flour and form 4 patties with your hands. Bake in a non-stick pan for 5 minutes on either side. . I used @spreadem_kitchen fermented cucumber & garlic spread which tasted really good 👌. But you can use any type of vegan tzatziki you like. . #plantbased #veganburger #chickpeas #falafel #falafelburger #eattherainbow #vegan #healthy #wfpb #wfpbno #poweredbyplants #veganfoodie #veganinspo #veganfood #veganrecipe #veganfoodshare #whatveganseat #vegansofig #calgaryvegan #myveggiefeast
