Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜ƒ . What is your favorite book of the year? I need recommendations because I think I'm falling down the rabbit hole of a reading slump and that's upsetting. . On another note, I started a new series which is called "The Good Doctor". Has anyone seen it yet & what are your thoughts? . . ๐ŸŒน Thank you @grimanii_k for the edit! . . #alltheuglyandwonderfulthings #bibliophile #bookaddict

๐ŸŒŸ Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine ๐ŸŒŸ . โ€œIf someone asks you how you are, you are meant to say FINE. You are not meant to say that you cried yourself to sleep last night because you hadn't spoken to another person for two consecutive days. FINE is what you say.โ€ . . This book has already received an award but I will give it another one! It was the most engrossing story I've read this year with a very well-developed plot and believable characters that engaged me from the first page to the last! I could easily let go of the fact that Eleanor exists only in the realm of fiction and I could connect with her on a deep emotional level, as I would with a friend. It was probably the closest I've ever felt to a character and that surprised me pleasantly. I can't praise this book enough and I'm shocked it's a debut! I'm really looking forward to exploring the upcoming novels of this author! I gave it 10 bright stars!! โญ . . ๐Ÿ’ญ Have you read it? What do you think of it? . . โค Thank you dear Nadira @nadirasworld for the recommendation! It was an exquisite one! . . ๐ŸŒน Thank you @grimanii_k for the edit! . . #eleanoroliphantiscompletelyfine #noelias_thoughts๐Ÿฅ #bibliophile #bookaddict #bookstagram #reading

๐ŸŒŸWait for it๐ŸŒŸ . 5 stars & I loved it even more than "The Wall of Winnipeg and Me"! Diana, our main character, is that smart mouthed sassy heroine you canโ€™t help but love and support with all your heart throughout the story. Her inner monologues were the best thing about this book and had me laughing out loud and get too attached to her. Both her character and Dallas's were excellent and their relationship has such a realistic growth I deeply appreciated! Ms. Zapata really is the queen of slow burn romance. I was never bored and felt so sad when it was over! I can see myself wanting to reread this one in the future. More books by her pleeeasseeee!!! . Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜ƒ . My goodness, we're halfway through the year already. Summer has made its way to our doorstep, but it has been raining a fair amount this month (well it has been raining a looot โ˜”). I'm not complaining though, rain is perfect for staying inside and studying/reading! . What are you doing? Are you done with your exams/school/university for the summer? What are your vacation plans? . Edit: @grimanii_k ๐Ÿ’œ

Helloooo people ๐Ÿ˜„ . New read after so long! I'm buddy reading Cracked Kingdom with Liani aka @rektokross for April! Twelve chapters in and I can say it's that guilty pleasure book I will finish pretty quickly when I find the time to finally sit down and properly read it. . . On other news, I'm finally free for a week or so and I'm ready to sleep & read & did I say sleep ๐Ÿ˜… Also I'm watching Jane The Virgin and I'm loving it! ๐Ÿ˜ . ๐Ÿ’ญ Are you on vacation? If so, do you have any special plans? If not, how are you going to spend your weekend? . Happy reading/writing! . . #crackedkingdom #bibliophile #bookaddict

โœดAll The Ugly And Wonderful Thingsโœด **5 stars** . . First of all, the cover is so pretty ๐Ÿ˜ Second of all, I believe it was a wonderfully crafted, raw and important piece of art! Her writing was like art. It was BEAUTIFUL with all the meaning of the word! . The relationship was twisted but it wasn't embellished, I formed my own opinion on it & hated it. That didn't mean I thought the story was bad. The storyline was great even though at the beginning I was shocked with the way things kept turning. . I'm not accustomed to this kind of stories but well I finally stepped out of my reading comfort zone & was rewarded in the end despite all its graphic cruelty. I totally recommend it! . . ๐Ÿ’ญ Have you read it? . . . . *[thank you once again @grimanii_k for editing this ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ] * . . #bibliophile #bookaddict #alltheuglyandwonderfulthings #noelias_thoughts๐Ÿฅ

โ€œSome things exist in our lives for but a brief moment. And we must let them go on to light another sky.โ€ โ€• Renee Ahdieh, The Wrath and the Dawn . . Happy Monday ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Reading Update: I decided to give "The Rose And The Dagger" another chance this month since I read it last year and found it quite disappointing. "The Wrath And The Dawn" is one of my absolute favorite reads and I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that I don't like the second book in the series as much. The covers are absolutely stunning, though, don't you agree? . ๐Ÿ’ญ How was your weekend? . . . . *edited by @grimanii_k ๐ŸŒบ* . . #thewrathandthedawn #bibliophile #bookaddict

๐ŸŒŸ Sweet Pea ๐ŸŒŸ *4.5 stars* Another title of this book: โ€œThe Diary of a dark humorous psycho with killing tendenciesโ€. Once upon a time, there was a psychopath named Rhiannon. She appeared to be a normal girl & had a boring mundane life. However, she also had a dark, cynical, sometimes sick humor that I really fancied, a cruel sarcastic side & dreamed of killing people every now and then. She made kill lists that had me cracked up all the time and described her life day by day in such an addictive way I didn't wanna stop reading. Spoiler alert: she even managed to kill some of those she targeted. The whole story was utterly hilarious, outrageous and unbelievably entertaining! Now hey, don't get your hopes too high, this book isn't for everyone. If you can't connect to Rhiannon then this book is a lost game for you. There's crudity in all its majesty, explicit scenes, profanities but it's so much fun! Definitely my cup of tea. . . Thank you Nadira for giving me the opportunity to go on this journey with Rhee โค & for this stunning bookmark ๐Ÿ˜ @nadirasworld . #sweetpea #noelias_thoughts๐Ÿฅ

โ€œThat's why literature is so fascinating. It's always up for interpretation, and could be a hundred different things to a hundred different people. It's never the same thing twice.โ€ โ€• Sara Raasch, Snow Like Ashes . Today in class during a break, I asked my students to tell me if they changed their name what would their new one be. I got some pretty cool answers, I must admit, like Finnick (from the character of Zootopia), Belle (from Beauty & the Beast), Liesel (from The Book Thief), etc. . So now I'm coming with the question ๐Ÿ’ญ If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name? . . #snowlikeashes

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜ƒ . . "The Break down" was a book I read last year & didn't talk about it here. After reading "Behind Closed Doors" and really liking it, I was so excited to pick this one up. Unfortunately, it was kinda on the "meh" side for me. Firstly, it did not have the same pace as "Behind Closed Doors". It was dragging and in the end, it became kinda predictable & boring. It was also repetitive which I usually don't mind but in this case it made me feel tired & my mind started wandering around. Needless to say, it's disappointing if a book doesn't help me focus on its story... . Now as this book was boring for me, I have a question for you โฌ‡ . ๐Ÿ’ญ Which fictional character would be the most boring to meet in real life? Let's throw some shade ๐Ÿ˜‚ . . #thebreakdown

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜ƒ . Yesterday I saw "Mother!" because I was intrigued by all its controversial reviews and...my head was on the verge of exploding after the first half. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. I liked it even though it was a surrealistic perspective on madness and destruction which is not usually my cup of tea. I believe that you have to be open-minded to accept what this film wants to give. It's definitely thought-provoking & doesn't help you feel better about yourself and the world like most movies do. . . ๐Ÿ’ญ Have you watched it? If so, how do you feel about it? . ๐Ÿ’ญ What was a controversial movie that you've seen lately? . . #nightcircus
