I intermittent fast, but if I end up heading to the gym late, I like to eat some fruit before working out πŸ‡πŸŠπŸ‡πŸŠ. Fruits provide simple carbohydrates meaning they provide fuel to the muscles faster than complex carbs, such as sweet potato 🍠. Carbs are the main fuel source for muscles, making fruit an excellent pre workout snack βœ…βœ…. Go for fruits with high water content such as oranges, grapes, and melons 🍈. Or portable fruits that are available year round, such as apples and bananas 🍎🍌 .
