Finished my workout with 10 minutes on the stairs as well! ⁣ ⁣ I’ve kinda been slacking on the cardio but I think I’m going to take it easy for a while. So this was the first full week of 2019 and let me say probably the longest week ever!⁣ ⁣ The top 3 things most people struggle with during their “new years resolutions” is consistency, being motivated, and resisting temptation. So I’m going to share the little tips that worked for me in losing almost 90 lbs last year. ⁣ ⁣ Consistency⁣ • set a schedule and stick to it - you’re more likely to keep going if you set times and keep going to the gym at that time. ⁣ ⁣ Motivation⁣ • follow pages on Instagram that motivate you⁣ • reward yourself! When I started, I would reward myself with new workout clothes when I hit a new mile stone. issaaaaa leg day! ⁣ ⁣ my ass and hammies are literally so sore this morning from last nights leg workout, thanks babe @jamesrturney 🔥😚⁣ ⁣ I’m really loving this program he put me on. For the last couple months I’ve felt in a rut with my workouts. so... my New Years “resolution” this year is to not be so overly critical of myself and to be more transparent ✨⁣ ⁣ I noticed a lot last year that every video I’d take, instantly I’d say “oh I look so fat” or “ you can see my stomach fold”, “ look how pudgy my lower tummy looks” 👎🏼⁣ ⁣ No one looks “perfect” especially when working out or sitting down and lifting weight. There’s no reason to be this overly harsh on myself when ACTIVELY trying to better myself. ⁣ ⁣ Do I have rolls when I sit? YES⁣ Do I make weird ass faces when I’m lifting? DOUBLE YES ⁣ Do I look bloated sometimes? YES YES YES ⁣ ⁣ BUT..... do I feel more confident after a workout? Absolutely ⁣ ⁣ Do I feel happier mentally and emotionally? what will you accomplish in 2019? 💫⁣ ⁣ 2018 was the best year of my life, and 25 treated me amazing!⁣ ⁣ ✨ I got a new job⁣ ✨ made new friends ⁣ ✨ lost 87 pounds ⁣ ✨ found a handsome boyfriend who treats me so amazing⁣ ✨ found my confidence again ⁣ ⁣ I think the biggest misconception for weight loss and getting healthy is that it will take too long, or that it’s not possible. This is not true 🚫⁣ ⁣ Does it take time? Yes.⁣ Will it be easy?
