The Tagline although very fitting but one can actually never be prepared to Die in this game given its harsh consequences thus living in constant fear in a bid to survive and yet you will Die, yes again and again until you lose count often affecting your sanity. (the platinum surely does) A decision to embark on this undead journey with grim and false hopes of finding Light through the eternal Darkness is always worth a second thought. The sheer uniqueness, dreadful setting and epic boss fights with equally matching arenas as well as soundtrack have made the souls games redefine the fantasy role playing genre qualifying as one of a kind. The true definition of lore with a story so vague and deep at the same time left completely open for the player. Even with the less punishing and much more manageable bonfire system the game still expands on its predecessors difficulty with a huge, confusing and even more mysterious open world. The true beauty of the game lies in its intense diverse world yet so well interconnected always feeling whole. Frustratingly rather than the combat its world (routes) turned out to be the real enemy - unbearable and even unfair at times easily getting lost or cheaply falling to your death until figuring out the much needed smartly devised shortcuts. Most part of the game can be described by this reference from Ser Bronn of the Blackwater : I'd be a bloody fool if he didn't frighten me. He's freakish big and freakish strong, and quicker than you'd expect for a man of that size. Maybe I could take him, dance around until he's so tired from hacking at me he dropped his sword, get him off his feet somehow..but one misstep and I'm dead. With each passing hour you begin to question your spirit cursing to soon escape the world you are trapped in but as the end draws closer you realise you are not ready for either. Finally a hollow feeling takes over you but ends up giving the most immersive, absorbing and rewarding experience a game could give.. Arsene wenger "Le Professeur" Just like most who were new to football the same question hit my mind back in 2010 : Did Arsene Wenger found @arsenal ? Is Arsenal named after him. Well, No but certainly the modern Arsenal we know of is much down to Him : From boring boring Arsenal to the stylish Arsenal. Whatever said will be too less for the Legend. There are two kinds of managers in the world : One who manage a team and the other is Arsene Wenger who builds and runs a club. No ones bigger than the club but Arsenal are big because of Arsene Wenger - Tony Adams. Rejected every offer from all over the world including Madrid Barca and even his own national team where he could have won tons of trophies but he chose to stay with his love and gave us what we call beautiful football. Every year his key players left but managed to build a new team everytime and still challenge for the title not to forget under a negative budget. And a true gentleman, how often do you see a Manger with such a long career never had an outburst with any of his players? With every ex-player still respecting him and some even consider him a fatherly figure in their career. He gave us a reason to live a 100 years more and watch Arsenal play. And now that you have gone the reason is still strong and that will be the highlight of your career how you influenced millions and made millions an Arsenal fan like you not because of the trophies you won or the Invincible season but your vision, class and portrayal of the game as Art. It's Hard to imagine Arsenal without Arsene. Maybe the right time but it's sad to see him leave without a league title in the post-Highbury Era and the very stadium he helped build. It's only a shame for the circumstances you had to leave in these last couple of years which reminded me more and more of this dark Knight quote : Because he's the hero Arsenal deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector : Arsene Wenger. #merciarsene #onearsenewenger #gooner #arsenal #invincible #arsenewenger #endofanera #football #premierleague #epl

Completed : God of War A Wiser and more characterized Kratos is back after a long exile to be found in unknown lands: a Norse setting. The journey of a father and son and the development their relationship goes through with the right pacing, past references, the same twists and turns and moments of brilliance is still interesting. Understandably, a fresh approach was needed on the combat front. The Leviathan Axe does a good job to change it for a slow strategic system with a closer camera. The throw and recall attack works amazingly well but can't be the main focus in a hack and slash game or should I still call it one ? An action rpg would be more suitable and a good one at that with more focus on combat than stats. Combos which are still fluid lack variety and somewhat make up for it with its depth, the inclusion of Artreus although refreshing feels underutilized and parrying is sweet. The game showcases Kratos's godly nature by continuing its tradition of epic boss battles. Although short on number are still fast in spite of the slower combat system. Shift to a beautiful wild open world on par with the top open world games with graphics that show the pinnacle of gaming draws one in eventually but not enough to explore beyond the main campaign. The puzzles individually have been more thoughtful than ever but lack the wholeness of gigantic mechanisms being unlocked slowly part by part. The question was : How do you better an already flawless classic video game experience? This game could be a close answer : Expanding, modernizing as a game borrowing a lot from the likes of The Last of Us,Souls series and at the same time respecting its roots. An improvement over a wide range of segments from the Original God of War formula even if a considerable amount of these are in parts which weren't my first priority or what God of War had been known for,the game does stand out in a way. An overall better game? Yes. A better God of War game uh,No! #review #gamereview #godofwar #santamonicastudio #playstation #kratos #dualshock4 #videogame #ps4 #experience
